The 5th Plant Extract Innovation Product Exhibition

On January 16-17, the two-day 5th Plant Extract Innovation Product Exhibition was successfully held at the Exhibition Center of Building 17 of Yuelu Mountain Laboratory in Changsha. The two-day exhibition has become the core window for industry achievements exchange. The exhibition site was crowded with people and the atmosphere was lively. More than 100 plant extraction enterprises from inside and outside the province showcased their core products and cutting-edge technologies. The exhibits covered various plant extract products, healthy food raw materials, as well as new extraction equipment, testing technology, functional ingredients and other supporting services throughout the entire industry chain, fully demonstrating the strong foundation and innovative vitality of the plant extraction industry. This exhibition attracted nearly a thousand professional visitors to visit and negotiate, including purchasers, researchers, and industry practitioners in the fields of food, health products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and more.

The exhibition site

This exhibition is not only a showcase of the industrial strength of the "Planting and Lifting Hunan Army", but also a "business card" for attracting investment in the gathering place of large health raw materials. Exhibitors fully demonstrate their core competitiveness through special booths, product experiences, technical presentations, and other forms, and reach multiple intentions for cooperation on site. Many exhibitors have expressed that the exhibition provides an opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises to connect with the market at a low cost, effectively promoting the brand promotion and channel expansion of "Hunan produced" plant-based products, and helping to further highlight the cluster effect of Hunan's plant-based industry.

The "Billion Dollar Procurement Team" at the exhibition site was organized and founded by the Hunan Plant Extract Association in January 2024. It consists of six major groups: Extraction Procurement Team, Synthetic Fermentation Procurement Team, Raw Material Procurement Team, Equipment Procurement Team, Experimental Equipment Reagent Procurement Team, Rural Revitalization and Foreign Enterprise Return to Hunan Procurement Team. Aiming to build a global plant extraction resource collection platform, through large-scale and centralized supply channels, to achieve efficient docking of upstream and downstream plant extraction resources, and promote the coordinated development of Hunan plant extraction and even China's plant extraction upstream and downstream industries. At the event, through face-to-face negotiations, the Hunan Plant Extract Association signed a 2026 billion yuan procurement strategic cooperation agreement with dozens of units including Hunan Zhunong Mizhen Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Hanzhong Natural Valley Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Xinluan (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Zhongzhong Import and Export Co., Ltd., Hebei Weidakang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Zhengguang Industrial Co., Ltd., covering multiple fields such as plant extraction enterprise system certification services, product quality testing services, raw material procurement, packaging material procurement, and extraction facility equipment procurement.
